What fees do I have to pay?

TS1 do not charge any admin fees or reservation fees for students. All that we ask, is that you make an upfront payment of £50 per person, which comes out of your deposit, to secure the property. You then have until the start of your tenancy to pay the rest of your deposit, which will be between £150-£200 per person.


How do I pay my rent?

Rent is normally paid termly when the student receives their student loan, however we do understand that some students receive their loans monthly or pay their rent by other means. You can discuss payment arrangements with our team.


Are my bills included in my rent?

All of our properties will include your utility bills such as gas, electric and water. Most landlords also include the internet and TV licence, you can check this when enquiring about a property.


What do I do if there is a fault?

You can contact a member of our team by emailing info@ts1students.com or call the office Monday - Friday 9am-5pm on 01642 245 796 to report the issue.


What do I do in case of an emergency?

In case of an emergency that requires immediate attention please call our office on 01642 245 796 during working hours. Please call 07401309501 for any emergencies that may occur in the evenings after 5pm, weekends, and bank holidays including over the Christmas and New Year period. Please understand that although it may seem like it, being locked out is not classed as an emergency and can be reported to our office within working hours.


What do I do if I am locked out?

If you lock yourself out within office hours a member of our team should be able to let you back in. If it is out of hours you will need to contact a local locksmith. Please notify the office the next day if any locks have been changed.


Can I stay for longer than 1 year?

OF COURSE! We ask all existing tenants if they would like to stay on for another year before advertising the property.


Can I stay after I graduate?

DEFINITELY! We are happy to let our properties to graduates as well as students. The only difference is that you may be liable to pay your own council tax. For more information contact our team.
